how to find bad cc sims 4

Good day!

Here's a way to easily remove broken/unwanted CC in The Sims 4 that I newly found out about!

So first you need to download a "program" called Sims 4 Tray Importer. It will basically let you see all the cc a sim is wearing which is the main reason you need to download it, but you can also do other helpful things with it.

This help tool is very simple to install, you just press the download button, unzip it and open the installation program. Then it's done! I'm not sure if it's the same process for Mac users, since I have windows myself. But there are tutorials at the website to help you out~

When you're done installing, you have to open the sims 4 and create a new sim. You need to make sure it's completely naked, no hair, no makeup, no eyebrows, otherwise you might accidentally delete it as you delete the broken CC files. So stick to the base game skin, eyebrows and stuff like that.

Then, it's time to find all of the broken CC! Put all the things you don't want on the sim, make multiple outfits if you have a lot. (TIP: Remove ex the swimwear tag too see all your cc, and then add the custom content tag to ONLY see cc)

When you're done, save your sim in the gallery (I usually just name the sims broken cc or bad cc or something like that) and then close the sims. Now it's time to open up the Sims 4 Tray Importer!

Here you'll see all your sims, builds and houses from the gallery, but you're gonna want to focus on the household you just saved. Click the CC button, and you'll see all of the cc your sims are wearing.

Then just mark all the files, right click and select show in folder. The program will find them in your mods folder and highlight all of them for you! All you have to do now is press delete, and boom your broken CC is gone!

When I did this yesterday, I got rid of over 100 CC items, but I think it's good to do it every now and then, especially after downloading a lot of new CC.

Anyways I hope this helped! Maybe you already knew about this way to easily delete bad CC, but then you could share this with someone who doesn't c;
